Hospice care can be given to terminally ill patients, including their families.
Who Is Eligible for Hospice Care?
- Those diagnosed with a life-limiting condition and with a prognosis of six months or less, should the disease follow its natural course
- Those with illnesses in which curative measures are no longer effective, appropriate, or desired
- Families and caregivers of these loved ones
- It is not necessary to be homebound to receive hospice care
